via Friendly Atheist, there is currently a Senate resolution in committee (PDF) to make the first weekend in May “Ten Commandments Weekend” in order to celebrate what an important and vital cornerstone the Ten Commandments are in American society.
But don’t worry. I know it sounds like they’re trying to establish a state religion, but they’re really not. They’re just throwing a bone to all those poor, persecuted, marginalized Christians.
